i just got back this morning from playa den bossa, we were up the figuretes end, having been here id never go back to san an, been to san an the previous 5 years but this year was a right eye opnener, you still get a good amount of chookters down at the jet apartments and and its noisy as fuk all day (i need peace and quiet to sleep).

me and the girl were more into the sightseeing side of things this year, the old town and castle/cathederal is totally stunning, especially at night, we had a great meal on the top of the old town at this s****y eaterie last night,it was so chilled and relaxed, theres we guys singing with guitars around you etc

we also went to the hippymarket and formentera for the 1st time as well, hippy market is a great day out with loads to see and do, formentera was ok, beaches are spectacular but we took the bus trip option and it was full of old coffin dodgers lol, still good for seeing the sights tho

managed to catch subliminal at pacha, dusted at eden (very good night) and cream closing on thursday there, Switch was amazing in the terrace, thats all i can remember

we met eddie haliwell in the airport last night too, got a pic with him etc, hes really really quiet, barely spoke, top guy tho, i was wondering tho, he never had his cd's with him or that, do u think the dj's check their records/cds in at the check in desk? i wouldt have thought so incase they got lost!

all in all had the best time in ibiza ive had yet, id recommend the sirenis jabeque apartments if anyone does go and doesnt want paraiso style digs, you get peace and quiet to sleep thru the day and your only 15 min walk to bora if you go left and 15 min walk to ibiza town if you go right, ideal!

Pdb

Have to agree 100% that PDB/Figuretes is so much better and so less 'Blackpool' than San An....

We went up to San An for the day just to see some pals who had chosen to go back to the resort, and we were so glad we had chosen PDB for our holidays and were relieved to be heading back here later that evening.

We far prefer the lower end of the island because it is far more multi-national than San An....which seemed just a little too "Little Britain' this year.
Too many football shirt wearing Brits for our liking, we like to get away from saturday night at Weatherspoons culture when we take our holidays.

Had some great meals in Dalt Vila as well, and to be honest our visits to the old town were the highlight of our holiday.

San An

You guess wrong....have stayed in San An on two previous occasions, and we tended to avoid the West End as we find live British football in every other bar to be more than a little bit 'Blackpool'

Having just come back Sunday, i spent most of my time over PDB/Figueretas, and formetera, San An, didnt do anything for me, I wont be staying over there again, there were plenty of places open (bars etc) but was too noisy, footy on every tv, bars fighting each other for customers, where they have to hike up the music opposite each other, and bar staff trying to drag you into every bar,
I ended up going over to the bay a couple of times, went to Pink Panther ( managed to find it on my last day,) and also a little restaurant on the corner, sat looking out to see with a bottle of wine to chill out, will have to look at my photos to remember what it was called. these 2 places were the best times i had over San An area.
The weather was better over Ibiza/PDB/Figueretas area. not overcast and dull like San An,
