Small Cove in San An

Just wondered if anybody could help?

does anybody know of, and know the name of a small cove, in San Antonio?

Me and my mates found it by mistake on our first day there back in July and I was just wondering if there was a name for it. I'll try my best to describe it anyway.

Its located a short walk along the shoreline from Mambo, as if you're headed towards the centre of San An, not far before the bus station. To access the beach you need to climb down some large rocks. The beach itself isnt so much sand but more like tiny stones and there are 2 or 3 blocks of high rise flats that overlook it.

Not a lot of details there, but its the best way I can describe it, does anybody know where I'm talking about?

Is it named Florencio then? That was the name of the file when I saved it.

Its not a bad little beach, those tiny stones get everywhere though, we kept finding them in our hotel room for days afterwards. We also managed to lose our football in those thick bushes on the rocks :lol:

i heard a rumour or in fact read a news piece about the prom that runs right around the bay in san an (in front of bar M, etc) being extended so that it runs past the port area and round in front of sunset strip.

any truth in the rumour??

personally think it would totally ruin sunset strip. imagine trying to watch sunset with 100's of people walkin past on the prom, as if its not busy enough already!!!
 
mackie............think i managed to follow it.............just about anyway :oops:

so its still going ahead then at ses variades....what is the latest news on when construction will begin/end.

I'm guessing Abel Matutes is related to Stella Matutes, who is some big hitter in 'el ajuntament d'eivissa' or consell de ibiza or similar.

at least abel won't have too many worries getting local authority approval then!!!
