Slug Trails

found a slug on the floor of my lounge the other day, then went to mop the floor and the "trail" showed up, making a "spaghetti junction" like pattern all over my nice darkly varnished floor, was a bugger to get off too :?

anyone know how they get in??
 
under doors - they go really flat so can get in the smallest area.

If you are humane - leave a saucer of beer / larger at the back door - they will automatically head for that, drink,get pissed then drown ( a happier way to go than the next option.

inhumane - leave a shed load of salt on the area outside before the door.

ewwwww, I would have had a mass panic, I had to leave my jeans on the washing line the other day cos there were 4 of the f.uckers hanging around, its them albino ones that really freak me out

They're bastards. In my last property which was in the back of beyond I used to get anything up to a dozen a night invade my kitchen.

Afraid I went for the salt option at every entry point to the property - bastards still used to get in and then just melt.

Messy business.....

have you ever stood on one of those big black ones?

I went to get the washing in last week in my bare feet - its squished between my toes - I actually thought I was going to be violently ill there and then - it was truly the most disgusting moment........

I had a secondary shudder on typing that....... not quite as bad as the primary shudder on squishing but near enough......

We get slugs AND snails in their pretty shells in our alleyway. It's hell trying to feed the stray cats in the summer months! The cats aren't keen on fresh escargot. :?

:D A snail wanted a big S painted on the side of his shiny new sports car. The dealer asked him why. The snail said, When people see me driving my new car, I want them to say, "Look at that S Car Go!" :D

when I was younger and went swimming if there were things on the pool floor I used to pick them up with my feet, only one day I managed to pick up a poo 8O :oops:
