only just got round to listening to this online

it is really good. quality techno mate

I'm listening now. How are the opening songs techno? Is techno not bpm defined as well? I always thought this was tech-house, or prog.

for me techno is more about the sound than the beat. i love the minimalist stuff with which slam start the mix. i think to be strict you're not far wrong when you say this is more techhouse than true techno - but the genres merge so much today, that i tend to generalise - anything with a vocal is house, anything with a guitar and synths is electro and everything else is techno ;-))
 
I had to shut it off during the final 30 mins or so, that was def not my taste. thats the issue I have w/ Carl Cox. He can play house, but that industrial hard stuff isnt my cup of tea.
 
a great essential mix indeed!
very cross-fader genere wise. combining some sick tech house, electro, acid and techno!

SLAM went up a few levels in my most fav djs rank ;)
