Would you & Tom like to come along to this, Ben will be there again along with the same crowd as was at the Burridge night

I thought we went to Canvas  Is that Ben and Turkish? I shall ask the wise one tonight.

How was Pride? Sorry we couldn't make it

no, was deffo The Key, I think Canvas is either the old upstairs part of Bagleys or the place just up the road that we walked past on the way out.

Pride was good fun, spent the day with Amanda & Charlotte sitting on the grass drinking outside one of the dance tents. Went to The Zap with a couple of other mates after those two bailed out early but was just too hot & sweaty in there so was back home by 1:30am, all very respectable

Who is this Amanda I keep hearing of? Her and Charlotte are becoming very friendly ;)
Just spoke with Tom, he said it is a possibility  But we will have to take it easy that night

Charlotte has known Amanda for ages, am pretty sure you have met her before she has been round my house many times, about 5' 5", brunette, is a dog walker by trade.

Dog walker rings a bell
I have asked Rob and Did about this weekend too.

when did bagleys cease to be??

Bout 5 years ago.

Canvas is a nightmare, probably the most badly run club in London - they overpack it to the point of dangerous and you queue for hours for bar, cloakroom etc.

The Key is fab tho, one of my fave clubs in London.

No, for big nights (eg MAW) they open all of them as one club but then The Key does a lot of smaller nights.

The Key is a nightmare for organisation as well - it advertises the fact that it's open til 6 but has only got a licence to 5 and it normally shuts at 5 and then you've got a full club all trying to get their coats from cloakroom - we were there once and it must have taken us an hour to get coats - they ended up just telling people waiting to have a rummage for what was theirs

God that was terrible, can you remember Tom's face we were rummaging around in the cloakroom for our coats and he realised his Maharishi jacket had gone missing!

What terrible organisation :?

It was a complete free for all  Fortunately nobody wanted my old skanky parka jacket

And can you remember that they'd moved half the coats to a different cloakroom without telling us, that's where Ton's Maharishi was

The one time I went there, I got there kind of late (3ish?) and they wouldn't take my coat :spank: They tried to tell me the coat room was full but I could see empty hangers, which I promptly pointed out to the girl with the "I'm just doing what I'm told and to hell with independent logical thought" look on her face

Nice club though. Had an almost underground feel to it. Plus a strange Italian woman bought me a drink for helping her get a bartender's attention :D
