do i need to do this? any benefit? I will probably want to take the speedier ones

how much are the tickets if i arrive at the port and how far ahead of time should I show up at the port?

Thanks! :)

Don't prebook, just turn up 5 mins before. Tickets range from about 15 - 35 euros depending which boat you get, we always just jump on the first one.

Don't do it, it's not worth.
Just get down Ibiza harbour, you'll see different ferries there waiting to leave, ask the time they leave and hop on the first one to leave. You can buy tickets in the offices or in the same boat. It's like taking the regular bus, you can be in the port five minutes before they leave.

I'm not sure how much but if I'm not wrong going retourn was around 20€ or so, but that was last year

Hi,

i hope you manage a visit to Formentera this time round as the last time i was their ( with a group of european friend's ) i thought it was paradise with it's white sandy beach's & crystal clear water's. Also there was not much developement & certain'ly hard'ly any nightlife making my stay ( we all missed the last boat back to Ibiza so we slept on the beach near cala mitjorn ) all the more better too enjoy, mind you that was 20yrs ago so although it has probably changed today, i hope it has'nt too much so as not to spoil your tranquility;) .

Have a great visit
dave
