Should I buy an apartment in Dalt Vila?

Been toying with the idea for years.

Very nearly recently went through with buying a derelict farm in San Carlos, luckily didnt as i'd vastly under estimated the rebuid costs.

Now looking to purchase one of those studio apartments with a roof terrace in the centre of the old town.

Am I a deluded dream chaser, will it be a nightmare investment, crumble and lose value, or can it stack up?

Ultimately i'd look to cover the mortgage through private rental, spend a few weeks a year there myself, and hold its asset value.

Id appreciate any advise from anyone whos done the same, cheers:)

We lived in town for 3 months in winter when we first got here. At first we thought about buying a place up there but it's too cold and damp in town in winter for me and I didn't move all the way down here to be cold. I know a few people in town that are quite happy there though.
If it's for rental and to use for holidays then it could be great. I'm sure there must be some bargains to be had there at the moment.
