just wondering if anyone knows if theres any shops / restaurants near riviera hotel thats open after midnight, We,re all inclusive ,but by the time we get to the hotel, the restaurant will be shut ,it will be after 11pm so by the time we check in, put cases in the room, it will be about midnight, so need a cafe /restaurant thats suitable for kids ie not just a drinking place that serves food, or a shop where we can buy stuff to make sarnies etc, we,re in the hotel but in an apartment so can make drinks food etc, but wont be making a meal at that time of night,:) , but kids will need to eat as they wont have had anything since 5pm at airport,

if it was me i would take enough pack up to last over night.i am guessing hotel will have vending machine for drink and water.if not nip out to see if any shops are open in the bay.if not call in a bar ask for bottle water milk drinks to take away.till to get sorted in the morning..not sure on late night shops not been to bay area for years

If it is san an bay you are on about there is a pizza place that is open till late at the top of the road where playa bella hotel is i have ordered from there in the early hours cant remember the name as it was a few years ago but it is along the street somewhere

as long as we can get the kids something to eat, wont send them to bed hungry, they had a life of always being hungry before they came to live with us, so not starting a nice holiday with a negative feeling for them, I,ll have a packet of crisps in my case to tide me over till morn, hubby and kids can eat anywhere Im awkward ,coliac and veggy, lol

Cant you have a meal on the plane? If you are getting a taxi from airport maybe you could ask the driver to stop off in San Antonio central or ask him to stop at a place en route that does takeaways?

After the last Ryanair meal onboard, we,ll give that a miss,:), which is why we,ll eat at airport just before we board, but will be a longtime for kids from 4pm to breakie next day, might buy a sarnie at airport before boarding plane ,which they could eat on bus top san an, as well be on bus nearly an hour, not making a sarnie at home to take with us,it would be rank by the time they ate it, lol, made at noon eat at about 9.30 lol not nice

I'm not too clued up on bus times but bothering with it at that time of night added with stress of airports and tiredness, also waiting times for the bus, I would spend a little more on a taxi I think taxi costs €35 max to the bay. Much quicker, and a little bit stress free. Enjoy your trip

We ended up getting two taxis, we took a few bits in the case ,to eat when we got there, but next night discovered a few places
that were open late for food :)
