Shocking...

the world is turning into a sick place. People are exposed to worse crimes day in day out and becoming desensitised to it, its on the news all the time crime against children:x .... there are too many sick f**ks out there that should be locked up for life.....:x :x :x

I don't think so - I think though the internet has given paeodophiles an easier way to get in contact with each other and with children, but the actual rate of many of these crimes is probably similar. Media attention and stuff just amplifies your perception of the crime rate. Policing of the internet probably also makes it easier to catch a lot of sex offenders who wouldnt' have been caught pre-internet days.

I don't know the actual figures though.

stop telling me what i am thinkin:spank: .

crime figures mean funk all anyway..................cos the definitions are always changing so in the 50s there might have been 10,000 rapes and in 2000 there might have been 10,000 also but there will be a new category of rape or somethin with 5,000 in there. (e.g. domestic rapes are not counted towards the overall rape total, whereas pre thatcher they were;) )
