Fridays are fantastic in Sheffield at the mo ..... Plump DJ' tonight at Urban Gorilla .. and

First off Spencer Parker takes to the Pin-Up decks on Friday for what promises to be an awesome affair.
He is one of dance music's hidden talents but this looks set to change. With guest spots and residencies at seriously prestigious clubs such as Ministry of Sound, The Cross, Pacha London, The End, Heaven and Fabric. A set from Spencer would include the most melodic of vocals through to the toughest of tracks while utilising an array of acappella's and effects.

Then on Sunday Pin-Up takes to the luxurious Bar Matrix for another Bank Holiday Sunday Special - Let the line-up sell itself:
Room 1: The Pin-Up Club Sessions
Dino & Simon Brown
Tom Lynch & Firas
Greg C & Dean Webster

Room 2 : The return of "This Old House"
Featuring the best in Classic and old Skool house
Deano
Jeff House
Paul Cox
Craig Watt
Live percussion by Dave Webb

£2/3 gets you in to enjoy all that but if you
email us : thepinupclub@hotmail.com we'll throw some free invites your way.

And why would I travel to a $hithole like Sheffield to see him when he plays in London every week   ;)

Joke about the $hithole bit, just like winding Andy up  ;)

I was in Sheffield for the first time on Wednesday, went for a job interview and ended up watching the Snooker Quarter Finals at the Crucible. Wasn't too impressed by the city, but the closest city to me isn't anything to write home about either.

Don't let Andy read that, he's the Mayor of Sheffield and he takes it personally if anyone slags off his hometown  ;)
