Hi

Just returned from the most brillliant 4 nights on the white isle.

Thursday 7th/Friday 8th

12 of us arrived at 12.45 and cleared customs, baggage retrievel and hopped in a cab to Playa d'en Bossa. Quick wash and a change and it was off to CREAM@AMNESIA where we rocked in the funky room with a little help along the way from Mr Jack and Jill!!!

What a great start and then it was back to the apartment for some more drinks and straight to Bora Bora. Here we introduced the full extent of Ibiza's party attitude to the virgins on the trip. By 4pm we were 'larging' it on the Bora terrace before heading back for a quick wash and brush up to fire ourselves down to Mambo's to see the infamous Mr Tong and his 'essential selection'. The sunset was marred by cloud at the final minute but that just gave us a bigger incentive to party even harder.

Friday8th/Saturday9th

We then headed to Pure Pacha for a table reservation at 11pm......this year we were doing it right!!! The food, the wine, the atmosphere it was all amazing. We skipped deserts from the menu and instead opted for the 'alternative' after dinner 'mints'!!!!!

We toured the club, again sightseeing for the virgins and then got down to business. The initial set was pretty average and we all felt that the kelice set was a little out of place, especially as the whole club apart from the main dance floor just seemed to stop dead. Once it was finished we again partied hard and danced the night away on the upper tier until we surrendered to what was the best Tongy set i've ever heard. The guy was amazing!!

Eventually we left and introduced ourselves to our beds for a couple of hours, then yet again we succumbed to the draw of Bora where we partied through until midnight.

Saturday 9th/Sunday 10th

A quick shower saw us hit Zoo bar in town and then across the water to El Devino and HK!

Was this a miss world contest??? Amazing, ok, the music at times was pretty commercial but it was still an excellent evening. Rammed full of beautiful people especially the three girlies in the VIP!!!!! We then ended up back at a villa party until 10 when we hit Space. This was disappointing as it was really empty, but that allowed a little more sleep before we tanned then danced in Bora before returning to Space around 11pm. WHAT A NIGHT!!!!!!

The upstairs terrace is fantastic, chilled, lovely sounds, and amazing views of the planes that seem within touching distance as they pass over before watching them touchdown burners and all only what seems yards away(think the biscuits were working by now?). The red room next door is much more intimate and had some great tracks and dancers but then by about 5am it was enter the main arena and get down and dirty and do your stuff!!!!

I just didn't want it to finish but it had to and the only regret was that we hit DC10 and was deeply disappointed. We finished off in Bora that evening, and left at midnight to come home.

At the end of it all had a good 5 hours sleep in my bed and partied like never before. Its my 3rd time on the white isle and I have to say that it gets better and better every time. I love the place, no we love the place and there is nowhere else like it on the planet.

Now thoroughly depressed, fed up and yearning more.....when's the closing parties I wonder????? heh, heh!!

Because i had heard so many rave review s about it...you know the one

"what? you haven't been to DC10's yet?"

When we got there it was pretty empty and very heavy and it just never lived upto expectations really.......may I add I wasn't alone thinking that either, all five who went felt the same.

Rest of it was top draw.

It's possibly something of an acquired taste but I love it, there's nowhere like it for madness and you don't listen to the music, it just gradually works its way inside your consciousness and you don't even realise you're dancing until there's a breakdown and you realise you're jumping up and down and going mental...
That aside, I love reading all these reviews, everybody's experience is different even if many of us go to largely the same places. For the first week or two it was making me really jealous and homesick, but once that starts to fade if just brings back the good memories and raises a smile even during the dullest day in work.

Think you're right, it is an acquired taste and to be fair everything else about the trip was excellent. None of us are that into the harder stuff to be fair....although it depends how many hobnobs you've had i s'pose!!

The white isle never ceases to amaze me and it actually gets better every time you go back there, maybe because you're a bit wiser and know the ropes but it's incredible. Just a shame it took me so long to find the place really.

Looking forward to the weekend in Sept though, something to really look forward to and with 6 of us going it should yet again be the naughtiness of life!!!

Enjoy everyone, enjoy!
