Our travel guys have just sent through a bulletin saying

A band of torrential rain will move across Southern England this afternoon with localised totals of 15 mm to 25 mm in a very short time. The public are advised to take extra care and refer to the latest Environment Agency Floodline and Flood warnings in force, and to the Highways Agency for further advice on traffic disruption on motorways and trunk roads.

Valid from 13:00 on Tuesday, 09th October 2007 until 17:00 on Tuesday, 09th October 2007
