Went Sept 9th - 16th, though it's gonna take me alot longer to recover! Way too much to cover everything that went on, so the gist of the week was:
Arrived on Firday and drank all day before going to Pacha followed by Extasis, John Digweed bored the hell out of me, first morning in Extasis and it was all I has hoped for! Went through til Saturday and went to see John O'Callagahan in Love in Playa Den Bossa, nice club (from what I can remember!) and John pretty much rocked it, back to Extasis again (this was to be a regular occurance!) and more of the same! Had my first snooze of the week on Sunday evening followed by Judgement Sunday, Above And Beyond (well only one of them played) were very good, the Trophy Twins in the Funky Room were excellent and then back to the Main Room for Eddie Halliwell, played the best set I've ever heard from him, proper banging! Monday morning was Extasis again, knocking about with absolute lunatics until Monday afternoon, then went a abit over board and had to be put to bed on Monday evening (shocking!) though this was to prove to be my last sleep til I got home on Friday! Woke up Tuesday morning with an extremely sore head! Had my only normal day, had breakfast, got a few presents and actaully got a bit of sun! Tuesday evening went to watch the sunset, it was perfect! Had dinner in Savanahs and headed to Sunsea bar for the Armada pre party. Two friends of mine played before and after Armin and the night was set up perfect! Headed to Amnesia for about 2 and Markus Schulz was on, it was my first time seeing him and I was well impressed, his mix of Nalin & Kane - Open Your Eyes is brilliant! Armin came on at 3:30 and rocked it, just a pitty the police came at 6am and made him turn of the music! Went to Extasis after (did I even have to say!) and then to a party in an appartment, went out just to drink on Wednesday night, but ended up meeting other friends and going to Play 2, then Extasis, before I knew it, it was Thursday afternoon and I was at another session in an apartment! Left there Thursday evening, went and got my act together and headed to Amnesia (minus about 400 brain cells, kept forgeting everything!) for Paul Van Dyk. As always he rocked it, but again had to finish early, this time at 6:30am. Then went back to the hotel, finished packing and went for the flight home! I'm sure I'm leaving lots out, but that's as much as I can recall for now!
