ibiza is back on the map as THE nightlife-mecca !

a former army vessel which looks like a mixture
of a stealth bomber and the batmobile
will be the home of ibiza´s brandhot new afterhour- and dayparty-heaven !

after the 2008 trouble caused by the ridiculous ban of afterhours-/dayparties -
causing longtime-ibiza-holidaymakers to look for new destinations -
a foresighted nightlife-tycoon ( who doesn´t want to be mentioned at that time)
took the challenge to bring ibiza back on track !

conversion of the ship into a afterhour-/dayparty-hotspot
with openair-area for dancing/chilling/sunbathing,
water-slides for a refreshing bath in the sea, food area etc
will be finished on time to the worldfamous opening parties .

possible location:
playadenbossa, sananbay or maybe even some hidden cala !

stay tuned ! !

the partyboat will be moored offshore - so that it is out of reach of
the local authorities no-afterhours/no-dayparties/no-noise/no-whatthe****ever-politics.

needless to say that there will be shuttle-service by boats available,
probably under the name "carry on" .
 
Shuttle boats have to dock somewhere. Authorities can prohibit the landing or mooring of any vessel and a licence to do so will be needed.
Ibiza red tape is infamous!

but the cold-war-relict isn´t finished yet.
the upper (openair) deck will be enlarged and converted into a tropical island
like miami´s tiki-boat:

I heard about this on Pete Tong on Friday night.

Jose Padilla has been signed up for a sunset set and they plan to moor it right in front of Cafe Del Mar. I see trouble ahead.
 
So we still all still have to flick the kettle on and don our dressing gowns at 6am then?

...unless we want to go on a Thompsons 'highlights' cruise (complete with holiday rep emcee) to es vedra?...Or we could play golf with the upper class toffs? Which is it?

carl cox mentioned in his radioshow something about rumours
that the cafedelmarpeople are in talks with the owner of the afterhours-boat
to moor it between 6pm and 9pm in front of mambo !
but who knows, maybe this is only a wind up ...

you would probably h-h-h-hate it discoplayer, although I suspect you'd be the only person able to dance, standing up :D
