Selling CDJ's as a pair or individually

Hey guys,
What do you think is the best (i.e. where you get the best deal); selling CDJ's as a pair or selling them individually. This is assuming that both are in good working order. Or has anyone had experience selling them and have had a higher offer selling them as a pair/individually etc. Any comments will be greatly appreciated.
Many thanks

Good luck selling them. Personally I would keep them and hand on to somebody who wants to get into first time Dj. I sold mine about 5 years ago and got virtually nothing for them.

Thanks for the advice. Really? Were you desperate to sell them? I thought the demand for them would be quite high around this time of year as its approaching summer and more people want to start dj-ing. Or would you say the winter is best time to sell?
Cheers

I just found as they were such an old model nobody wanted them. Maybe best time is at the start of University Sept/October when students have that first loan check. Most students are skint now...

haha that’s a good idea mate; will definitely keep it in mind! Did you find the bpm readings to be accurate consistently with yours?

You might get £200 for the pair, the problem with a model that old is whoever buys them will have to get them serviced at a price plus anything that may go wrong which is inevitable once they start getting used. My mate bought some for £200 last year and a further £200 to get them working, they were like brand new though once sorted.

I agree with that valuation. I got £70 for my single one from Cash converters about 5 years ago. They are well know for paying crap but that was 5 years ago so £200 for both is about what you would get now.

thanks guys! yeah mine do have slight problems with bpm readings! Have anyone ever encountered the error message "E-8302" on cdj’s. If so, does anyone what it means? I’m guessing it’s that the unit needs cleaning or maybe the laser? I've cleaned it but still get this message. If it was the laser though, how does the unit play ok again after I turn it off and on again?
Cheers

If you have a local music store give em a ring see if they have a tt service guy working with them. My local music store does the guy pops in weekly to pick up any tt's that need looking at and he rings up to let you know what the problem or problems are before he fixes them.
