Scaffolding structure on right from Bar M to Es Paradis?

Hello to everyone!! Please welcome the newest member with what may be the silliest question, but does anyone know the purpose behind that scaffold-type structure along the road on the right as you walk from Bar M to Es Paradis?
 
Theres been quite a few posts on this site about it previously. Try the search function and you may find it.

Think it was supposed to be a nightclub, but didnt get finished? :?
 
I know the structure you mean, unfortunately I don't know what it is though, I do know its been there for a long time at least 10 years I think as I am sure it was there when I went to San An in 94.

I would imagine it is an unfinished hotel/apartment complex that fallen foul of planning regs or the developer has folded.

Can anyone shed any light??

Was gonna be the Idea club, but never made it past what you see now....I think.....
 
Yep , unfinished club. Can't see it ever being finished or ever being knocked down so I reckon its going to lurk in San An for a while yet.
