Satelite Navigation sat nav

Hello all,

Does anyone have any experience of using sat nav on Ibiza?

I hope to hire a car this summer, and already own a Navman device.
I`ve been informed by Navman that their Pan-European maps cover the Balearics.:)

However because the maps cost £99 any information on how accurate and how detailed these maps are, would be usefull.

I do realise that the island is small and that exploration is part of the fun, but there are certain places in particular that I would like to visit without too much trouble

i've no experience of them but you'd be wasting your money if you bought one. the maximum you could get lost for is about 7 minutes! spend the money on something more fun - a couple of drinks in pacha should do the trick!

Ibiza seems very small and manageable during the day but as soon as it gets dark it suddenly expands and every dusty road looks like every other.

When were you there last - the dirt roads are long gone - it is a small island which now has those new fangled inventions called direction sign posts. If you get lost you should in arrested for being drunk!

I was there all last summer.

And I dunno about you but I always end up in random spots with little in the way of tarmac and/or signage.
