We have a villa there in June. What can ayone tell me about this town and its environs?

if any one village typified ibiza then it is santa gertrudis.

it has everything - trad bars, modern bars, restaurants, cafes, shops, art galleries, auction houses, banks, supermarkets, nice new open air swim pool, a dairy, the driving test centre, horse riding, country walks, bohemian arty population, the traditional can caus farm and sausage making installation, and if this is not enough, there's even a (yawn) club called la diosa. plus it's in the middle of the island - 20 minutes from everywhere!

if only i could afford to live there!

Thanks for the tip...fantastic! i habe heard of La Diosa...do you know when it opens?

Also any tips on a good bar in town?

i think it's open now - (weekends only)

but hurry, because most of the area's population are trying to get it closed down!

as for i town, i'll leave it to the usual suspect to recommend the usual bars.

( oh, all right, i love sa botiga, on ignacio walles)

la diosa re-opened for the winter season in october and although they put daily ads in one of the newspapers it didnt work so after a few weeks they closed!!
