San Remo hotel

I have stayed in the S'estanyol hotel a couple of times before the refurb, but we are staying in the San Remo in 3 weeks. Does anyone know what its like since it's been done up. I've read some reviews, and they aren't great.

my friends stayed in there this week, the rooms are really nice, but the food isnt lol... but there are some good restaurants very close by xx

Is this the hotel that is linked to the Xaloc apartments? I am booked in at the Xaloc in June and haven't heard very good things about it!! Has anybody stayed here before?
