San miguel Bargain + ibiza with kids?

Just booked the first week in june at san miguel for 3 peeps at bout £240 inc flights! Baragin!!

Has anyone stayed in San miguel before? Whats it like? Anyone want to share there experiences? I have driven through before and it looked beautiful.

This is the first time also me and the Mrs have took our 8 year old girl with us. Does anyone else on here go with there kids? How did you find it? I am worried i will miss the nightlife too much, but hope this will give me a chance to see the rest of the island (with car)!

the island is beautiful and a driving pleasure. just take off and see where the roads take you. you'll find many peaceful beaches and small bars and resaurants even in high season.

oh and leave the girl with the reps/kidz club for a few hours in the daytime and go and get mullered at bora bora or space :-)
 
Definitely agree with Russ on the car thing. Only bad thing about getting one was realising how much we'd missed out on before!

you will love san miguel - I have been there 6 years on the run and think its fab - we have 2 girls 12 and 7 who refuse to go on holiday anywhere else except san miguel - we have even offered them disneyland and said they preferred san miguel - its great and you will get time out for yourself cos its superfamily and your little girl will have so much to do..................
 
The North of the island is so beautiful - every time we drive up North I am speechless at how rugged, unspoilt and green the island is compared to the usual areas we tend to stay at, some of the small coves and beaches are so tranquil and we have found some of the loveliest restaurants off the beaten track. Also go visit the caves up there its wonderful and cool and a definite respite from the heat in Jul and Aug. enjoy!!
