San Antonio Vs Ibiza Town

Hiya every one
I'm an Ibiza virgin and a friend and I are planning a holiday to Ibiza.
Can anyone recommend whether we should stay in san antonio or Ibiza town ??

We do plan on parteeeeeing, so don't want to stay anywhere too quiet. And we want to go in spetember.

any suggestions welcome!!

how old are you and what type of partying!??? if you are under 30 and want cheap beer and pulling followed by clubbing then go to san an if you want something more sophisticated and expensive to to Ibz town or even playa den bossa

i woudl go to san an personally as you can get to ibiza town on the bus its not that bad a journey

the big clubs (amnesia and privilege) are in the centre of the island, or san antonio (eden es paradis) except el divino pacha and space, they are in/near ibiza townbut pretty much all can be reached easily

plus sunset cafes in san an and i am sure this will beon your agenda pretty much most of the time as its a great warm up to a night out

ps i am there 30/5 - 6/6

i can recommend the gran sol hotel for a cheap base in san antonio (it is basic clean and very cheap!) close to kanya mambo coastline cafe del mar and not in the centre of the west end too much (though you can walk there easily!)
 
yep san an for 1st timers i would say.you can really get the feel on things then.dont be frighted to travel around.you cannot get lost.try going to playa den bossa for the day.and possible one night.to get the feel of the place,,( ie bora bora/space...same with ibiza town...friday/sats are best nights.
