San Antonio (The west end)

It seems as if San Antonio has a bad rep yet I have a hotel/apartment booked there for the season, was this a mistake? I heard its impossible to sleep, people pick fights, crime and violence (even heard of a shooting), dirty, bad beaches, ect?

I have read numerous posts from various sites and I keep getting this info, kinda worried, any advice!

dear oh dear.

when you get there you'll wonder what you were worrying about.

parts are noisy, most is nice. you may see some holidaymakers fighting but you might not. that'll be about it

where are you staying? the only location you really don't want to be in in the middle of the west end, but accomodation there is limited.

well my hubby was out there last yr and i wasout there a few yr back ...but u are going to the happy place 'IBIZA' not costa del sol babe

Ignore all the bad reports about the West End mate, I didnt see a single fight in 10 nights there last year, everyone is in the holiday mood and not really out looking for a fight.

The only things that might annoy you about the place are maybe 1 or 2 of the club reps, and the looky looky men, but all in all you'll have a great time.
