San Antonio Restaurants

Ok, so I'm extremely premature (not something I always suffer from, I promise), but have already started working out where I'd like to eat around San Antonio next year. Here's the list I've compiled. Can anyone give reviews on any of them. Things like choice, price, service, you get the idea. The ones with stars are the ones I've been to already and will definitely be going back to -

*Rincon De Pepe

*Tijuana

S'avaredo

Rias Baixas

*Curry Club (is it still as good as it was in 2005?)

Coastline Cafe

Davids

* Savannahs

Grill Sant Antoni

Thank you 8)

David's is on my 'never again' list. Don't understand why people like. I've eaten there twice and both occassions my meal tasted of nothing but salt.

Coastline Cafe is still my favorite restaurant on the island with a bunch not far behind. But they do the best paella in the entire world!!! Staff is great and the view can't be beat. Only thing that sux now is the music policy changed, but that's for a different topic.

Been to davids about 6 times and i love it. But, i have only ever had the pizza. so i don't know what the normal meals are like. But they have a well nice chilli olive oil to drizzle over your pizza.

I used to love Tijuana, but it just didn't seem as good this year - the manager was still great, but some of the staff seemed very pissed off all the time, and getting anything off them seemed like it was a problem.

Make the trip over to Ibiza town and have a meal at Thai'd Up, absolutly wonderful food and service again.

the mexican one next to savannah is a definate NO GO - the food there was horrendous. But Mercedes is ok good and Il vaticano is really nice!

Being a pre-club venue, always found the music at Coastline to be far too loud to enjoy your food. Plus when I went once, it was the pre-club for Dave Pearce's night which certainly put me off my grub.

You can't beat Casa Thai and their 'three courses and a drink for around 8 euros' deal. You always see plenty of DJs and minor slebs in there.

Davids

Yes Buckley, my food was the same at davids, just salt!!!

The old trick of, "add more salt, customers drink more booze" ;)

Perhaps some one can tell me the name of a mexican restaurant we went to?.

We were walking from Cafe Del Mar to Bar M. We were walikng down a quite side street, close to the harbour. There was not a lot else on the street. The restaurant was very old mexican style. It has stairs in the middle of the grounfd floor that go up to the toilets and more seating. It has a little shop through some doors.

Not a good descritption I know but the food was excellent and must go there next year.

Thanks

Bar Themesis in the west end is nice a cheap and spanish which is great for lunches and cheap meals before having a session,

You should consider villa mercedes just off the port, nice food, great atmosphere and they now have a chill out bar area with music. Best seats in the house is the table which is set up high on the veranda which gives fab views of the port

is that from the top of tanit??

Hotel tanit is up by cala gracia, you can see it in the top of the photo against the background of trees

the photo is taken from the roof of the block above sugar sea, where the ibiza webcam is situated....if im not mistaken:?:

maybe it's not called tanit then but it is from the place i'm thinking of, the hotel/aprts behind naxa.

look at the pics to see the restaurant we're talking about, which is on the same road as were sgt peppers was.

what is the name of the hotel/aprts, it has a swimming pool on the roof i think??

Did anyone ever venture to Tapas, lovely little restaraunt off the beat and track...I had the best meal of my month spent in Ibiza in Tapas. Thought Davids was ****e, curry club was pretty poor and couldn't find a good kebab for the life of me, all in all wasn't that impressed the restaraunts on offer. Oh actually, Jamels wasn't bad, had the duck which was massively delicious
