heading to es canar for a wee chill out week in oct, hoping to meet some friends in san an , whats still open in oct?
just looking for a place to eat and drink ?

never made it in summer a due to a break in Australia(oz winter was still warmer than Scottish summer )

I suppose it depends when in October really. Most places are open until around the 20th of the month, then you'll start to notice more closures. There's always somewhere open though.

San An has a lot of year-round local residents, so whilst tourist bars close down there's plenty open. It's one of the nice things about it, having a port means it's not a ghost town out of Season and you can still see the 'proper town' evident in the place, even in Season, if you look through the hoardes of tourists ! Very different to PDB which assumes something of a "ghostly air" once the masses depart - until the construction begins for next Season !
