San Antonio Hotels/Apartments

Hey Guys 8)

Me & My friend are wanting to go to San An either June 5th - 12th or July 3rd - 10th (I want to go July, since it'll be busier and livelier :D) and looking for somewhere relatively cheap & right next to all the bars & clubs. Can anyone recommend somewhere to stay? I've been once before but I was a kid, and my friend hasn't been at all so we're a bit clueless :)

hi theres 9 of us going in july were staying in hotel brisa that is in san antonio it was relatively cheap and is in the middle of san antoni only few mins away from west end the hotel dosnt look great but is supposed to be v clean and in the centre of all the action
 
We did the Brisa last year, not to bad! Been three times now, stayed in San-an each time.

Hotel Tropical with 18-30s: Central location - 10 mins to westend, 10 mins to beach, 10 mins to sunset strip, 10 mins to eden/esparidis. Half board and the food was ok. Good size pool is opposite hotel and quite large, pretty good pool bar to. Young lively crowd as 18-30s. Rooms are not bad, basic but and NO aircon so it can get really hot and sweaty in there...not good!

Del Mar apartments with 18-30s: Small hotel but in great location right next to harbour - 5 mins to westend - 5 mins to beach - 5 mins to sunset strip - 5 mins eden/esparidis. Small pool and not many sunbeds but still ok. Rooms basic with aircon (very cold to!), some overlooking the harbour and eden etc. Young crowd. Tiny bar area. Some games, pool, darts etc.

Hotel Brisa with twenties: Centralish location, quite high up san-an though and a bit of a trek to other areas. 10 mins to westend, 15 mins to beach, 10 mins to sunset strip, 15 mins eden/esparidis. Good size pool with lots of sunbeds and decent pool bar. Rooms basic but nice, aircon, crap views (who cares :). Young lively crowd. Good vibe.

If I was gonna go back to one of those it would probably be the Brisa because of the air con, decent crowd, nice size pool and bar even if its the furthest away from everything.

However, this year I am gonna try the Pacific. The reviews on here and the rest of the net are good, the pictures of the place look great to (nice big open area, nice size pool.) Its got air con, half board, one of the best located hotels (I think) in san-an right next to the beach, eden/es-paridis and stumbling distance to the westend.

i stayed in Brisa 3 times loved it and they come with Air cond rooms now, stayed in Marina Playa lovely apartments up near Bar M there but no air cond, Zodiac were ok, didnt like staying in the Bay tho, their apartments were spacious but were never cleaned and they have no air cond, Marian are strict, no air cond big apartments tho, im staying in Casa maria this year for a month, they have air cond and ive read nothing but good reports on them
 
Ms T. You goto work or just hols? Wondering how much spending you take if its hols for a month? I spank £1500-£2000 no problem in 2 weeks :O)

The first time we went to ibiza was June 2007, we satyed in the Bahia which is in San Antonio Bay, cant fault it at all, weve booked up for 2008 again, this time for the 21st June for a week. I cant compare hotels as ive only stayed in that one, but i wouldnt stay anywhere else anyway. Top notch hotel!! quite a few pics of rooms, inside foyer, pool etc if anyone is thinking about staying there.

I love Ibiza but noticed you have HTID in your name?

HAve you thought about doing the HTID in the sun.
It's in Lloret in June.
Just an idea :)

I'd rather be in Ibiza but if you love hardcore then thats the place to be :)

i stayed in the brisa 3 times its best place i stayed, nice hotel 2

yea goin for the month, the last time i went for the month i just lived off my wages, i didnt get paid in advanced, i just let my wages go into the bank every wed which was grand and i actually came back with money, goin for the month was cheaper then nearly 2 wks ha madness

Yeah, I was wanting to go there... but I'll still be 17 when we plan on going :oops:

stayed there last season... same experience very good and a good owner :D, my mate was a complete arse on the first night but the owner let him off after he apoligized and he gave us free whiskey :p

nice pool but it is right near the road and a fair walk 10mins to the bay (bar m)

cheap too!
