san antonio bay

Hi
we are a couple in our 50s,we like bars with live groups where you can have a dance and a laugh.We are going to san antonio bay on May 4th,any advice?

i'm going on 4th may too. was there last year in sept. There is a bar under the xaloc apartments where they had live music on last year. And one further towards san antonio not sure of the name but they had drag acts on.

hello there i live and work in san antonio bay, there are quite a lot of bars that have live music, and cabaret acts on ,what hotel are you staying in and i can let you know what is the closest xxx you will have a great time:lol::lol:

I know which bar you mean (its above a big store) and the drag act is Silk Stockings. I love them and missed them last year but I have everything crossed that they will be there again in September cos I would love to see them again.

There is an Irish bar in San An (not too far away from the wonderful Pink Panther) which had a live band last year.

You have to visit Sue and the gang in the Pink Panther cos its the best bar by far!!! Might not have live bands but she will play whatever you ask for and you could not wish for a better atmosphere and welcome. I LOVE THE PP!

i am afraid the first week of may was a bad one because of road works , none of the bars were open with cabaret or live music, donnegans actually opened tonight. all the road works are finished now and look good... as usual though you know me i battled concrete , dust and rubble to get the pink panther opened on 4th april... i hate to disappoint anyone lol xxx
