Hey i've just booked a holiday to san antonio bay, just want some advise what it's like there? we dont want it to be rowdy, but still a good nightlife. Is it just san antonio which is the worst for this or is it all like this, any advise will be great cheers.

There are some great locations in the bay and that's where I always stay. Its definately quieter than San An, especially during the day and in the beach-front properties though you may get tired of some of the very loud and tacky hotel entertainment at night! It can be rowdy - particularly if you're in apartments that are near to the main San An - Port Des Torrent road. If you want a messy night in San An, it's only a water-taxi ride away. The bus service is excellent too and parts of it are a really nice walk.

Where abouts are you staying?

Fiesta Milord Hotel, its kind of on the other side? but i dont know ive never been there before? u get **** hotel entertainment anywhere i suppose. cheers for letting me know though. when did u go there? and what was it like?

I mainly stop in the bay. Like spaceslug says It's less busy than the town but still easy for the night life some night i go over on the last boat and get a taxi back round later. To walk back round is also good calling at bars it's good at day as well as at night.

The Hotel Milord is nice....my first year in Ibiza I lived in the apartments next to the hotel....the beach there is a bit small but walking distance to other ones....and its nice because the water ferry taxi thing is right on your doorstep!

Have a great hol! 8)

can anyone suggest any good bars or pubs or whatever aswell? or what the best thing to do in san antonio bay is?

They are loads of places to go around there and you will be spoilt for choice, off the top of my head I can think of - Java, Banyan Palace - depends what you like really...you are not too far from San Antonio either so lots of bars / restaurants there too....:p

The best thing is...you are about 30 seconds away from Kumaharas! 8)

Milords is a nice hotel, a bit further down than I usually stay. You've got a water taxi pick-up point right outside so for San An you're sorted.

I stayed in Sol Bay apartments once, right on the main road. It was noisy but very good value for money. I've stayed at Marina Playa and S'Estanyol too, both pretty good though last time at S'Estanyol was REALLY bad with some very unpleasant people. It's changed hands now and looks a lot better, but not sure who runs it. Nowadays I tend to stay at Ses Savines, which is really really chilled but walking distance from San An.

Yeah.... if you're at Milords then Kumharas is an absolute MUST. Or just take a few cans onto the beach and have yourself a sunset. :D :D

I always stay in San An Bay - it's very quiet, no rowdiness at all!

Just a warm 10min stroll to the centre along the promenade

Tho to be honest I've never stayed in San An itself so maybe it's not that bad. Remember the West End is only about 3 streets or so, it peters off pretty quickly once you're past that..
