San Antonio Bay - End April/May

Hi!

Does anybody know if anythings going on around San Antonio Bay (How far is it from the busy centre?) around the End of April-May? I realise clubs will be empty...are there any other tourists around on the beach, streets?

depends which hotel your in the bay really.to how far it is to the town part.early birds will be there don;t worry.things will just be picking up.nice time to go as well.not too busy so you can get around easy.time to talk to bar owner etc.

Do you go often? What's the mix like between Brits and Other Countries?
 
Do you go often?. yes. i have stayed all over island in the years i have been going since 83.brits out number any one esle in san an.i now base myself in playa den bossa.which is very cosmopolitan.its nice to mix with other people.

this time of year you get a lot of people looking for work for the summer.weather can be hot or miss.
 
hey dude im gonna be san an (central) staying in pacific hotel (3 stars) from may 3rd - 10th. i found a cheap ass deal on travelrepublic.....168 dollars for 7 nights!! do you know your exact dates?
 
San antonio bay in april

Hi , I live in san antonio bay, and it is very busy at the moment around the area where the san remo hotel is, myself at the PINK PANTHER BAR and Candice At BUCANEERO BAR have been open since the end of march, on the 30th april I organize a recruitment fayre at 2pm so a lot of workers fly in that weekend, also I am doing a charity day on wednesday 2nd of may, lots of entertainment and fun all day long.:D ALSO THERE IS A GREAT MIX OF NATIONALITIES HERE AT THE MOMENT, MOSTLY ENGLISH SPEAKING..
 
we,ve just come back from the island and can confirm on Sunday night both Pink Panther and Buccaneros were very busy xx

Are there many ATMs around the bay where I can withdraw EUROs using a British Bank Account (GBP)?

^^ Yes there are plenty. There are also a couple in the airport when you arrive (go through customs, turn right walk all the way to the end) if they have money in them (usually do out of peak season). I usually try there first on arrival.
