San An Sunset

Hello,

I will be in Ibiza 17th - 14th September. I'm not staying in San Antonia, but will probably be visiting there for the sunset. I have a few questions:

What time is the sunset?
What's the best place to watch it and eat? Mambo? Del Mar? Kanya?
If I want to eat at one of these places, what time do I need to get there?

Any other advice on this is much appreciated.

Thanks!!!

Hi

When we were there last week the sun was gone by 8:30pm so get there before 8 I reckon.

Mambo is pretty much next to Del Mar so either is good, Kanya is about ten minutes walk away. I've never seen the sunset from Kanya, doubt that you would be able to see it to be honest but I might be wrong.

You can eat there any time, I think the latest we ate there last year was about 10pm.

You get really good sunsets from Kanya. Any of those bars really - I think that's why they call it the sunset strip :)

If you want somewhere more natural and less commercial then try Hostal La Torre at Cap Negret or Sunset Ashram in Cala Conte.

Better food and less expensive.

Sunset will be around 8pm so be there for 7pm to experience the full effect.

Kasbah is next door to Kanya and I had some lovely food there last week!

Also the sunset is great from there, more ambient and less clapping/shouting than round the Bay at Mambo/Del Mar. Take your pick.

Alarm, that pictures I took of the orange clouds and through the sunglasses were from next to Kanya. :)

My bad, never been to Kanya to watch the sunset, maybe I'll give it a go next year.

We always tend to sit on the rocks a bit further down from Mambo etc with a carton of Sangria, cos we're classy like that! :)
