san an or the other side

Not to sound harsh, but how did you manage to get a job in ibiza for next year? (and doing what)
I don't understand how someone with so little knowledge (seemingly) of the island, locations, clubs+venues etc can work there?
By 'the other side' where do you mean? Playa den bossa, ibiza town..?
To answer your question, I'd suggest staying in San Antonio again, at least your familiar with it already (and if you don't already have a job lined up) I'd imagine it's a bit easier to find work there too. As for getting to the clubs etc I wouldn't really worry about choosing your location based on that, the island is so small, no clubs should be more than a 20minute bus journey, plus there's a couple of the big ones in San An.
For location think more about where your job is, you want to be as close as possible especially if you're going to be drinking while out there
you don't want big journeys to travel daily, especially at silly hours! Also, if your going working with friends, or already know some over there then it makes sense to stick nearby them.

as someone who has done what you are planning to do..........my advice would be that unless your spanish is good or you have a job/place to stay lined up already, then you need to thinkin about being located in and around san an. the main reason is just because of the quantity and concentration of jobs and accomm. located in this area. i mean you can access pretty much all of san antonio and the bay from say even somewhere central like the west end.
the other thing is that of the hundreds of people that will be doing the same as you next year.............the large majority (esp. Brits) will be planning on San an.

we tended to stick more to san an wen we were away cos thats were we were stayin, went to space the nite we got there and so that was all i really saw of that side...went amnesia and privledge 2 nites but i dnt remeber them bein too far away from san an (well on the nite bus)
obviously i wanna travel and c the rest of the place wen i get there but yer i rekon san an will b the best choice now....i no wat everyone thinks of it there, but its more my kinda scene i think 2! cheers x
