Hi Folks;

Gearing up to go to Ibiza for the 1st time with the old lady (she's not old, only 28) in July and was also looking into self catering apartments.

Sal Rossa Apartments came up as recommended, has anyone stayed here and can they please comment on location, food, people,. staff ect....

Thank you.

i always say this is one of the best s/c apts in playa den bossa.nice mix of people staying there.good selection of food.or what ever you fancy cooked.step off the pool area right on to beach.you cannot go wrong in booking this place.all you need is only a matter of mins to get to if that.bars shops etc.tucked away from main road.ggoogle map it and zoom in.

Seaview (apartments for Spotlight clients if booked with spotlight

Thanks everyone.

I am still undecided between SAL Rosa Apartments, Club Bahamas & Paladium.

Not too worried about the price, however, I dont want to pay AI if I am not going to take advantage of it inlcuding sloppy drinks when I can simply bring my own to the beah with some mixers of course :)

Looks like Sal Rosa is about 1000$ cheaper then the other two and this location seems to be more of the middle of everything

To add;

for all you experienced ibiza enthusiasts, I would like to ask you folks a simple question please.

I am really considering SAL Rossa Apartments, which as you know is not AI, however, for $500-700$ more for a AI, I can go to Club Bahamas OR Paladium.

My 1 trillion dollar question is, is it worth it to pay the extra 500.00 and stay at the Paladium OR the Club Bahams or is it not worth it?

I guess this question is geared more towards the folks who have stayed at the above mentioned places.

Thank you in advance.

If it helps, we are in our early 30's, love to go out and eat, we like our beers and Vodkas' and we like to go to a few clubs while we are there, however, would like to come home to a decent place after the club's and dont want 20 Year olds throwing up everywhere.

Ideally we will be staying there for 10 nights 11 days.

Thank you!

Maybe dont bother with A.I then , get out and about , buy some Corona's from the shop and take them to the beach

This is what I am thinking Marc.

I would rather spend that 500-700 on nights out and good food and not strapped at the Hotel, because I know I will not be eating at the Hotel everynight

Me and my girlfriend have just booked the Sal Rossa Sept 2nd for a week. Every review Ive read have been good ones. Saying theres alot of familys with kids which is a good thing for couples as theres not gonna be much noise at night times when you want to get ya head down. Right next to bora bora beach bar but not too close . Sal Rossa sounds like a winner to me

yeah 500 more just for A.I is not worth it. I did A.I last year and did save a fair bit of money doing so but the food wasnt nice. It only cost us 280 for the week tho.
Spend the extra hiring a car 8)

a/i not worth it.Club Bahamas will be even more full of kids.so sal rossa it is.buy your own beer and drink in room.have a few cheap drinks at uno;s before you set off out.or loads of bars in resort.Paladium is right at end of pdb near airport.mine you Club Bahamas is as well but not so near.
plus you gotta walk into resort along a dark road at night.not lit up very well.

Club Bahamas/Paladium don;t have louts staying in these hotels.ie 2o year old throwing up.its not san an you know.

We stayed at the Sal Rossa last week of August and they were fan-fooking-tastic. Excellent rooms, cracking beach side location, close to Space/Bora Bora and so much more.

The staff were top laugh, always happy and engage in the craic with you. The younger brother (think its run by two brothers of the family) was always laughing and pouring us free pints!!!

Could not recommend it enough and i am one fussy (unt. The rooms were perfect as the bedroom was off the main room. I was with the missus and another couple and the girls were safe and comfortable.

The food was good enough, plus as it was right on the beach there was a lot of choice.

Above all else we paid very little for it, in fact cheaper to stay than at home! They really are top notch.

Could not recommend it enough, and i would deffo stay again. Still got the hotel card as a book mark for future reference!!!

I went to the Sal Rossa last Sept for the 1st time and loved it. Food great, bar staff a good laugh, perfect location, apartments spotless. The only 1 comment I would make is you have to get up before god to get a sun bed, and its annoying to see towels parked on beds all day and never getting used. Thinking of going there again this Sept, so may see you there Uncle Sevo
