We were there on Saturday.
Beautiful place... inside an old church that was never consecrated and subsequently served as a woman's home (you must see her picture on the wall... bearded lady!). Vaulted arched brick ceiling. Beautiful setting.
The menu is Meditteranean, I guess you'd call it. Several fish dishes - a couple of them baked covered in salt and then filleted right at the table. I had the duck which was a crispy-skinned leg served with pear. Other friends had the steak tartar, steak with mushroom sauce - there were about 4 steak dishes.
Deserts were amazing. I had the lemon sorbet dissolved in vodka... it was so good, we ordered 2 more. The cheesecake and strawberry soup were also fantastic.
Only one of us got an appetizer - Shrimp in garlic (a traditional local dish of shirmp in olive oil with toasted garlic). It wasn't the best rendition of that dish I've seen.
Our bill, with 5 or 6 bottles of wine came out to 57 euros each inclusing tip when spread out over 8 people. Each person had a main course and dessert, plus that one appetizer, a couple of coffees and a few bottles of water. Not bad.. the entrees were in the 20-30 euro range.
(I should note: my duck was delicious, but my wife's cod au gratin was far too salty... the cod is not one of the salt-baked fish dishes mentioned above)
