Hi

Just wondered what the craic was with Ryanair. At the booking screen there is loads of options which are

0 Bags & Online Check In
0 Bags & Airport Check In
1 Bag & Airport Check In
2 Bags & Airport Check In
3 Bags & Airport Check In

Am I right in assuming that everyone is allowed to carry some hand luggage (like a rucksack) onto the flight for free and that the "bags" reference relates to suitcases or stuff thats put in the hold?

Yes you can do normal carry on. You must pay extra for online checkin. I think it is worth it(around euro 5) This lets you board first. You only get 15 kilo's checked baggage and you pay dearly for extra bags and weight.:spank::twisted:
 
Yes you actually pay extra if you check-in in person. If you do it via internet it's free.
