Out in Ibiza next week, not planning to do any clubbing apart from DC10.

really keen to try some new restaurants..done the whole KM5 thing and looking for something a bit more special and rustic...ideally out in the country...or possibly the d'alt villa.

anyone have any special tips.

all recomendations gratefully recieved!

My favourite as everyone knows is Es Caliu on the main Ibiza / San Juan road - I shall definitely be there next Tuesday and probably this Sunday as well.
From Ibiza it will look like this on the right side of the road

Looking forward to choosing decent fillet steaks, ox, rabbit, shoulder of lamb etc with a decent bottle of wine plus drinks before and after for around 40 euro per person

Visited Sa Capella for the first time earlier this month. Superb. Cost for me and the misses, for 3 course with a bottle of wine, circa 100 Euro.

Its on the outskirts of San An, just off the roundabout on the Santa Agnes Road.

"Hidden inside a converted 16th century chapel, undoubtedly Ibiza most beautiful and striking restaurant".

I've got to agree with Tony on this one, Es Caliu is a lovely restaurant in a lovely setting that knocks all the Bambuddha Groves and KM5s into a cocked hat!

cheers guys, they sound brilliant! Especially like the sound of Es Caliu, will defo check it out! Many Thanks and any more shouts appreciated! Out there this friday!

how do you define rustic???

Can talayas nr. Sa Pedrera has absolutely no decor, no effort put into service or presentation, no fancy menus or haute cuisine, no hob-nobbing F-list celebs or "island faces", no reviews on here or in "Rustic Restaurants Monthly"

you just get given good hearty, wholesome, trad ibicenco food served up by ancient ibicenco women at the most ridiculous time of the day. Most important of all, hardly anyone knows about it.

So for me, it is quintessentially rustic.:D
