I know a lot of bars show football games, but who in San An/ san an bay will be showing the rugby games, Leeds will be playing while we,re away and Tim wants to watch it

sue in the pink panther is very obliging when it comes to rugby. i'm sure she'll give your hubby a 'sam tomkins' cocktail for during the match - it's two fingers of whisky.
 
crikey that sounds like really hard work, forcing myself to drink cocktails while Tim watches rugby, what a hard life I lead, * sigh *:lol::lol::lol:

Now that's a real bummer for why is that when i'm staying on the Island that my footy team LUFC only play when i'm due for boarding the flight back home and yet the Rhinos have a game? I love Rugby but not Super League Rugby.

I went looking for football at the beginning of the month and there was more rugby then football on in the west end :twisted: Loads of bars in the bay have sports on to but are very quiet in the day Im sure they wouldnt mind turning the rugby on if it means you sit spending money in their bar :)

could that be connected with football being between seasons whilst the rugby super league is mid season?

Well it was the first day of the football league season so a few had footy on but most had rugby. I don't watch rugby and just wanted somewhere to sit and relax to sky sports news but no where had it on. Found quite a few in the bay had ssn on later in the week though I'd forgot about them :oops:
 
I fly out to San Antonio Bay on Saturday and hope to watch my beloved Wigan take on Warrington on Sunday. Pink Panther bar it is!

Heather, I doubt Tim will be enthuastic about meeting a Wiganer after we beat Leeds at Wembley on Saturday but tell him to say Hi as I will be the one biting my nails and screaming at the TV. ;)

THANKS STEPHEN....... look at you all talking behind my back lol xxx in the pink panther all sports are equally important and we have 3 satellites and 8 screens so u never miss anything... separate commentary inside and outside xxx beer is 2 euros a pint and cocktails 4 euros a pint when sport is on xx and HEATHER.. of course we have your hubbys favourite jamiesons whisky..:p WE ARE OPEN THROUGH UNTIL 30TH OCTOBER.
 
Pink Panther to the rescue as ever it seems !! Sorry Sue .. had a very hectic trip and never managed to drop in for my Mojito after all.. something to look forward to for next time (may be out again later in the month or October).
 
rugby league this weekend

live on sky this weekend is

saturday .6.45pm is hull v castleford..

ALEX..the wigan v warrington game is 1.45pm on sunday lunchtime..we will open at 1.15pm for it xxxx

Of course it is internationL football weekend, so england v bulgaria are on tonight at 8.15pm ... also wales v montegro and scotland V czech republic are tommorow at 4pm.:lol:
 
world cup

the rugby world cup starts friday 9th..and first england match is 10.30am on sat 10th in the morning .
 
oh dear hubby wont be happy. we fly out at 12.20 , so England match will be finished by then
hopefully it will be shown at the airport
 
just realised we,ll miss the repeat as well, grrrrrr, we dont land till 4,20 ish, by the time we get our luggage, get the bus over to San An, check into hotel, it will probably be about 6.30 pm,

guess he,l just have to find out the score, when we get there and watch the game when we get back home , Ill set the skybox to record it, grrrrrr
