Re weather, if it's sunny you'll be fine to sunbath and the water may be better than in may, but the risk of storms or rain it's quite high.

if u check the site out there are a few messages on the rosamar, i stayed here last year and would recomend! its a bit out of the way but there is plenty of things around. Hotel is lovely, Clean, good pool, staff very friendly. Smugglers Inn is just over the road and they do very nice food!!!!!!!!
its quiet that time of yr as the bars are starting to close however there r still a fair few in the bay n i believe over the w end open!
weather in Oct is nice cooler of an evening so u may need a jacket. can get the odd shower too! pools and sea are what i would call ermmmm fresh lol so good luck! i was over again 7th oct last yr and everything was great!

hey i was in the rosamar last august 2005, i thought it was gonna be a real family hotel but it turned out to be quite fun. The staff are quite nice, although we were made to pay for a mattress with a burn in it even thou we didnt do it!!!! san antonio bay is a good place to go to get the night started, we used to have a few drinks down there then head of to san antonio town at about 10 or 11. Peppers is a good bar to go to and the chinease down there is really nice too!!!! hope u have a great time !!!!
