Romantic Restaurants Ibiza Town

Hi,

I hope you can help - I was looking for a romantic place to take the wife for a dinner for her Birthday in Ibiza Town area.

I was thinking along the lines of an Italian or Mediterranean food.

Has anyone got any recommendations that I can look up?

There's a really nice place in Calle de la Virgen called "Il Pavone" which I've been to a few times, the seating outside is quite tight and of course, being where it is, you do see some sights go by!
 
Can D'en Parra is in a lovely setting. La Torretta does better food but is not as romantic as it's in the busier part of the restaurant square bit.
 
Me and my girlfriend both like la Oliva, just inside the Dalt Vila. I think it could be the type of thing you are looking for.

I think it's shut. Gutted if true as it was fantastic last season - great food, service, staff and of course, THAT view.

If you get a good outside table, La Torreta is usually a winner for a romantic meal.
 
I can highly recommend La Brasa which is situated just in front of the walls of Dalt Vila - My wife and I visit every year - the food is excellent and the setting is just what you're looking for I think.

I used to love la brasa, but after having two meals in the last two years that both were mediocre at best, and the service both times was absolutely crap, I really can't recommend this place anymore.

my recommendations would be el olivo (not la oliva) or restaurante plaza del sol.

Gotta agree with you there stivi. Used to be one of my favourites. Last time i went there i was that unimpressed i dont think i will go back. One thing the Missus noticed as well, we stayed at Hostal Talamanca and after we had eaten at La Brassa when we went back to the Hotel and the evening menus where on the tables and it was the exact same menu.. prints and everything. Are they owned by the same people??

yes they are. and I actually found that both the food as well as the service is better at hostal talamanca.

Sa Cova was fab it's a small restaurant (20 covers) and menu. Everything was fresh and tasty. Only open 3 months - a good find.
Also went to The Catch (KM3) this place is really impressive. The food, service, drinks, music and ambience makes this somewhere very special. Only open 2 months not cheap but worth it !!
