I have found a "local" place about five minutes walk from the west end (past the ship inn, mesa thinks) called Flower Power. I found it while staggering ( lost I might add) back to my hotel at 5 am ish, they played 50's/60's/70's rock and roll and there seamed to be a lot of locals there (and the music was low key as well).
