Can anyone tell me if you can get a 'traditional' English meal in Ibiza? I mean, there must be some ex-pats with a restaurant that serves English food??

Not found any yet - some do Sunday lunch but thats all... :( I been visiting the Island for 6 years now - twice a year, and not found a decent one yet

I came across one last year but i cant remember where it is, i can remember kicking myself because i really fancied one.

Kasbah used to do it but im not sure if this was before it was taken over by Jules or if they still do it. Im going to check it out anyway on the sunday to see if they still do :?

Traditional Roast Dinner :?

Traditional Rost dinner is served on Sundays only as in the UK.

And if you can't find a place that serves it then you must be walking round with your eyes closed

There was an Irish bar in San An Bay, near the Bahia hotel that done a mean roast (on Sundays).

But there are LOADS of places that do them!! Just look for the English bars/cafes, they all serve roasts on Sundays.

Sorry, yes I know - Sundays not a problem - its the other days that are...

We arrive this Sunday - the problem starts on Monday - sorry to be such a pain!

there is a place on the marina to the far left at santa eulalia, the owners are brits and have lived in Ibiza 19 years. Really nice food and prob serving the closest to a roast as you can get mid week? Cant remember the name though sorry.

sorry, people going in search for traditional english food on holiday, it bugs me when people do that, but I shouldn't have rolled my eyes at the question, apologies

it's no different to a few british clubbers coming over and going clubbing every night (apart from the weather of course) or a chelsea fan coming over and spending every night watching the world cup, or for that matter a few young drinkers coming and spending every night round the west end......

I'm not sure if it's the same, but it's similar.
If you know where Hotel Arenal is in San Antonio (bit further down from Bar M), across the street from it, maybe 50m right there's a cheap restaurant and they have a numbered menu with few dozen kinds of meals. It's pretty good.

When I was there during the 2002 World Cup I had a lot of fun watching games with large crowds of Spaniards and Germans (I was staying in Talamanca). The games were morning or at lunchtime, so plenty of time afterwards to head out to the beach :D

As for British food, I think that's half of what's served in Playa d'en Bossa :? But there's so much other food to try out that I don't understand why you'd limit yourself.

Well its quite simple really. I go to Ibiza for the sun and night life - not the food.

I am a very plain eater at home. I hate Garlic and onions and just want to find somewere nice to eat. A place I can get an odinary English dinner.

Just thought somone might be able to help...

Thanks

Like I said above, apologies for the rolly eyes at the question  and for being so narrow minded ;)
