Keeping things eclectic, after last week's rockin' line-up this time Ibiza Rocks brought us some cool rap artists...

The newcomer Amplify Dot from South London, who is about to release her first album on EMI, is the first UK female rapper to sign an album deal with a major label in ten years (the last one was Ms Dynamite, who will be at We Are Rockstars in two weeks, with Polydor).

Only backed by a dj, Ashley Charles went through her repertoire of songs including "Kurt Cobain" with which she started or her recent collaboration with Busta Rhymes "I'm Good" with which she finished. From the beginning the rebellious MC agitated the crowd with her energetic chatter, asking the people on one side to insult the people on the other side and vice versa... if that's not a good trick to get people's attention we don't know what is!

Ibiza Rocks continues proving that they're still on the ball when it comes to book fresh talent.

In 2011 Rizzle Kicks debuted at Ibiza Rocks supporting Dizzee Rascal first and The Streets later, before their debut album Stereo Typical was released and stormed the UK charts. In 2012 they filmed a video-clip for "Dreamers" at Ibiza Rocks House and were spotted at the Kaiser Chiefs gig. This summer the boys returned to play again, this time as headliners.

With the crowd waiting excitedly, Jordan "Rizzle" Stephens and Harley "Sylvester" Alexander-Sule plus their backing band came out and played all their hits ("When I Was A Youngster", "Mama Do The Hump", "Down With The Trumpets", etc) and also new stuff from their next album Roaring 20s out in september like "That's Classic". Among their always funny covers, an unrecognizable "Killing In The Name" with different lyrics and "(You Gotta) Fight For Your Right (To Party!)". In contrast with Jake Bugg last week, who hardly spoke in between, most songs were introduced with a bit of an explanation about them. To top it all, Harley (who also plays guitar on some songs) jumped in the pool at the end of the show!

The Brighton duo knows how to please and entertain the audience, leaving everybody satisfied.
