I'll second that for as a life long LUFC fan myself i'm still trying to come to terms about his death and to get my head round as to how such a talented and well liked/ respected young chap who enjoyed success both on & off the field along with being a great husband & father to his wonderful family could actually end his days without saying goodbye?

brilliant player for the Toon too! Helped us get to the FA Cup final in 98 and 99 and also into the Champions League in 01/02.
He also scored the winner against PSV to send Newcastle to the semi finals of the UEFA Cup.
285 matches in a Black and White top and 40 goals, a real Newcastle legend.
