I know its not new but was listening to this the other day and thinks its quality :)

Is this cd anything like Cacoon???

cd1 - night. techno, obviously.

cd2 - day. trippy afterhours stuff, brilliant.

Yes, the third season is 2002! This was the cd together with Richie Hawtin. The first part reflects the music they played during the Cocoon nights @ amnesia in 2002 and from track 17 on it's more afterhours style. (The kind of music you will hear Sven spin when you're lucky enough to attend the Cocoon afterhours.)

When you like The Sound of the Third Season you should definately check the fourth season (2CD)!

To answer the initial question: Yes, the music on the cd is the kind of music you will hear at the cocoon nights!
 
hawtin playing any nights from 11th to the 20th?

Would be intrested in seeing hawtin, sven vath, jeff mills etc
 
afraid not, will be at Ibiza July this year. Not going for clubs as i dont like the music at them:( but would check out something if it looked good. ie Techno.

I saw Derrick May, Adem Beyer will be playing later next month :(

well in no order, i like seeing many of the daddys of techno music. back to the roots

derrick may, richie hawtin, mills, kevin anderson, robert hood.

also like the new comers from europe too, sven whitterkind, amok, chris noise for hard techno

i am playing acid techno at the moment, often see Chris liberator, dave drummer at partys in London, really feeeling the SUF shit:) love the 303

i like many kinds of techno
