Ricardo Villalobos tune ID at Circo Loco 25/09 and Monza afterparty 29/09

Its a fairly happy sounding tune which got quite a crowd reaction both times it was played.

It has a male vocal in it and one of the lyrics is "Underground".

I was told it might have been 'Dennis Ferrer - Underground Is My Home' but it's not that.

Any ideas?

I have to find this tune!
 
I doubt it's the one you mean, but I'm dying to speak to someone who's heard the Villalobos (I assume) mix of Yello - Big Race, which was nothing short of utter destruction when it got played at the penultimate DC10 session last week (twice in the last hour in fact!)

(oh, and your tune may be his mix of Depeche Mode - Sinner in Me, if only because it's the only tune I can imagine him playing that has vocals)

(oh, and you have 2 hopes of finding it (or 90% of the re-edits he plays) anywhere else than on a set rip of his)
 
i thought he was way better than richie hawtin when they were back to back on the 25th,he played a breakbeat kind of thing with a vocal saying <push pull me out> if anyone knows what that is!

I would kill for the DC10 set on the 25th.. I missed the last hr cos I got so fed up with the pushing and shoving and my foot was full of glass :evil: - wish I'd stayed now 8O
 
thats exactly what happened to me i left at 11,iwas pinned to the back wall with some 7ft spanish stood in front of me,that was the downside to the day!

did you see the HUGE fat italians in the middle - they REALLY pissed me off :evil: - just standing there taking up more space than anyone else and talking on their mobiles:evil: :evil:
 
i dont want to sound stupid but it says or wait 6 mins to dl wheres the clock? ill bet that was 1 of those italians in front of me,i was dying to shove him out of the way,but he would have probably zipped me up in his bum bag for the night!
whats the soundsystem in dc10,everyone raves on about the function 1 in space but ive never heard bass thrown out of a system like that,it reminds me of the hacienda years back! every kick drums like thunder

Guys, I just got this off soulseek, (f*ck that rapidshare boIIocks!) all 4 and a half hours of it! (there's actually 4 parts). If I get a chance to upload it, I'll try. It's really impressive, goes through all the houses of house, even playing stff that isn't to far away from the Dennis Ferrer track.

Oh and it has the Yello - Race remix (and that Sinner In Me remix) I was talking about though doesn't sound nearly as good on my laptop speakers!
 
Sorry mate, I assume you're talking about the link in my seignature, whihc isn't the villalobos one, I'll upload that tomorrow at work if I remember
