Subliminal Rocks

Has anyone got any reviews from any of the openings like Subliminal, F me or Pure Pacha. In fact any opening (other than it was to busy at space, as usual) a lot of the big ones have opened the doors in the last week and no reviews yet:cry:
I do appreciate those people might still be on holiday but they could log in while away just to keep us people back home up to date:)
 
Thanks for pointing that one out Neilly303, sounds like Pacha got off to a good start! Steve Angello is on my list of DJ's to see this summer.
Anyone got any more, especially from Mr Morillo's open gambit!!
 
Subliminal opening was excellent, very busy. The theme was "Carnivale." Cue dancers dressed as show girls, bunting and fake big top tents hanging from the ceiling. Morillo would occasionally drop a fairground siren into his set which would make the crowd go wild. The only down side was rooney and his chav family taking over VIP with white polo tops and reebok classic trainers on!
 
El Divino was pretty poo. Let too many people in as usual so the atmosphere was very pushy, if that makes sense? Ended leaving after 2 hours and spent the rest of the night in the bar at the end of the road leading up to divino. Can`t remember the name but it was excellent.

I bet they wouldn't let us in wearing that attire (not that we would of course :))

Mind you we couldn't guarantee 10,000 euro spend so maybe that's why they relaxed the dress code when they saw him and his entourage approaching the club! :)
 
Oh DC10 was also very good. First time i had ever been and what an experience!!! I don`t do drugs but had fun watching the people i`d seen in space the day before having a bloody good go at staying out as long as possible. Some very strange outfits and people there. Will definately do it again.

Sorry guys can`t really remember what the bar was called, was quite drunk. As for rooney`s clan, had to delete all my photos of the night coz his bloody security thought i was taken photos of him! As if! Did`nt have a wide enough lense to fit his potato head in. :p
 
Just stayed in VIP with his security all around him. Looked like his family were having a better time than him. Suppose i would too if i had a rich relative to sponge off. Anyway apart from that, Subliminal was quality and the food in Pacha restaurant was excellent too.

Openings

I went 5 nights in a row to Subliminals, F*** Me, El Div, Amneisa and Space on Sunday....
Subliminal - great atompshere, music was average, felt Morillo was lacking
F*** Me I'm famous - unbelieveable in every way, music just boosted the crowd
Amnesia - unbelieveable music, Riveira so good....after party til 11am was banging and weird as hell....but I'm weird, so that was fine
El Div - OK, bit disappointing, too packed with people and music not as good as others
Space - music was sensational, can't remember which DJ it was, I didn't want to leave at 6am, my friends hasd to drag me out.

There is one tune this summer that was playing EVERYWHERE. It is like this piano de de derrrr de, de de derrr de...and then it gets uplifting with a saxophone....big biiigggg buildup for like 3/4 minutes and when it drops, people go nuts - I wouldn't even say it was a housey tune (like Toca's Miracle) - it's just becoming an anthem, any ideas??

Every year i wonder whether the clubs are going to be half empty put the WHITE ISLE just keeps on going and going!!

That Mark Knight tune (which I just downloaded) was deffo THE track...Space played it about three times and the build up just blows the crowd every time....

Toca's Miracle kept popping up, not that great a tune, one for the pop charts I guess.

I'm thinking the closing parties will be bangin, might have to go back!

Any weeks this year particularly good?
