well, when i got to see the DVD of the first edition of "TIC" (tiësto in concert), i knew i have to go there if they would bring on another one...and they did! in fact they announced two shows...one on friday night, 29th oct, and the other one on sat night, 30th oct. the presale started on aug 28th and both concerts/parties were sold out within few hours...2 x 25'000 people!!

so, on sat morning natascha and me took the plane to amsterdam and then the train to arnhem were we arrived in the afternoon. time for some shopping and a fine meal at a very good (...and rather cheap!) italian restaurant...

the concert (i prefer the word pary) took place in the gelredome in arnhem, a football stadium (where also madonna and other famous bands had held concerts), and they openend the doors at 9:30pm. i must say that the dutch guys are extremely good at organizing such huge parties: no waiting time at all, neither at the entrance, nor at the cloakroom. and they also had enough bars so no one ever had to wait too long for a drink...
the show started off at about 11pm with a special warm up: at the entrance 3d-glasses were given and they played a 3d-show with some crazy visuals on a huge screen! at about midnight tiësto himself finally turned up and at that point, the whole hall was rockin'! he played a full 6 hours set with absolutely brilliant trance, even some hardtrance tunes and also some good progressive tracks. i loved it! the last hour was like a "remember-hour" and tijs played much old trance stuff...this from 6-7am! :D

of course, the whole show was quite commercial and it really was a SHOW, they even brought up some live singers, dancers, and (at about 3am) a choir...but that was awesome!!! a choir singing to trance - my god, i wouldn't have expected this - but it was great...

all in all it was a fantastic night. i'm not really a fan of these huuuuge raves and prefer the atmosphere in clubs, but this one was just grrrreat.

now i'm looking forward to see erick morillo and titto la rocka this weekend here in zurich!

It was really, really good had a sort of underground feel to the tracks that he played! 8)

right, fortunately he didn't play only the cheesy stuff everybody knows. of course, there were some big tunes (love comes again, traffic and so on), but he really played a wicked set. i loved it and i'm going to get the DVD which will be on sale from 3. december...memories ;)
