Review: Tapas Restaurant, San Antonio

Thanks to Ibiza Spotlight for mentioning this place - We went tonight & it was lovely. We have been to tapas places in the UK & always leave hungary. So when I told the wife tonight where I was taking her as we had a babysitter she wasn't keen
Its off the main road but easy to find (go up the lane opposite Burger King)
The portions are massive & well presented & so tasty, service spot on too, the prices are also very good.
To put it into perspective - we had beer, 2 cocktails & 6 tapas (stuffed by the end of it) for under €60. Left ,went back to the main road & got 2 vodka with mixer at Itaka for €18. Should have stayed put
The only thing I would do to improve it would be the music system - it needs a bit more - a little volume but more depth (bass) this would really make their lounge garden more appealing.
To sum up - Go there - has been the best meal of the holiday

We went there twice in June and was definitely our new find of the year. Amazing food and drinks at a decent price. The people who run the place are also really nice and we have recomended this place to a number of people. You will not be disapointed.

Ps. Assuming it's full name is still Tapas Restaurant & Lounge Bar?

Went here for the first time in July following Dirk's previous comments. After getting off the plane and dumping our luggage at the apartment we took a cab to the Tapas Restuarnat and Lounge Bar.

Lovely setting and the food and cocktails were great and there service was spot on too. The couple who run this place are very friendly. After our tapas we we have another couple of cocktails in the garden area. Would go back again next time I am in SA.

Me and the misus always have a night in El Rincon De Pepe, but after hearing lots about this place, we will be trying it also. Looks good! Cheers.

I went there last year, amazing 'gambas' - service was brilliant and the food so good, especially considering the price, definitely going again when I'm over in a couple of weeks.

Good review too :-)

I'd forgotten about this place and I always walk past it on the way home from my friends. Definitely will be suggesting it as a date location on Monday evening :)

Ended up finally getting to go last night!

5 dishes between 2 girls and a bottle of wine for 40 euros, both stuffed and sufficiently watered :)

Only two tiny negatives, (1) the prawns have changed from the menu (now in batter) we were told on ordering but I was still disappointed, would have preferred pan fried, (2) the bread and alioli didn't arrive before our food and we had to remind them to bring it out.

Positives, staff were friendly and chatty, setting was amazing, food was delicious! We went around the time of sunset and as it was a cloudy night the sky looked amazing!

I think we are going to try this place when we are there in October as me and my husband adore tapas! So can you watch the sunset from the restaurant?

Went here last night, lovely food and ambience. Very reasonably priced too at 48 euros for the two of us with a jug of sangria. The stuffed peppers were deelish!

Forgot to say, considering where it is the place was pretty busy and totally full by the time we left at 9 so it's probably a good idea to book.

Picture of the second time we attended...bit of a clue as to portion sizes, look at the stuffed pepper (2nd portion on left from bottom) ITS HUGE!
