Review: Space Opening Fiesta 2012

'Orbital, a duo from the UK who had a ridiculous amount of energy that was carried over to the crowd. The two men who both looked like a typical dad turned cool, hypnotised the car park with their break beat tracks featuring trembling basslines and eerie female vocals which perfectly suited the sci-fi-esq style of their set. The pair were even sporting glasses with LED lights just to add to their performance even further. '

Mmmm. The same Orbital who were recently voted in the top 10 dance acts of all time and have been about for over 20 years?

ps:
but who on his right mind in the whole wide world gives a **** about this ==>
"... Young Blue Marlin resident Danny Avila could even be seen strolling through the crowds ..."

 :? :o

At least he got off his ar$e and did something. I'd much rather hear about a resident DJ at an acclaimed venue than bloody Paris Hilton, some girls aloud star or an irrelevant footballer.

Saw this from Darius Syrossian yesterday:

''This was really funny at DC10 yesterday, 2 italians came over after staring for a couple of mins and then pointed at me while i was completley letting off steam in the middle of the packed dancefloor outside and HAVING IT, and one said 'you, you darius syrossian, VIVa ? i said yeaaaaaahh mannnnnnnnnn, they were like, we never see a dj dance like this in the crowd at dc10! i said tonight im not a djjjjjjjjjjj, hahahaah it reminded me of the exact same thing happned last time i let loose like that which was at back to basics a couple of years ago, sometime its good to not be playing and hit the dancefloor hard, not just be there but get sweaty with everyone else''
