I'd always fancied going to a Space birthday party - they always looked amazing on Space dvds and they looked like they had the same celebratory vibe that you would find at the opening and closing parties. The 20th Anniversary had to be something special and when they pulled the original lineup I knew we were in for a treat!

Walking towards the club you could already feel the bass as you moved across the car park and I knew that this was going to be something else!

We walked into the Sunset Terrace and it was already rocking. Michel Cleis was on the decks. No point in telling you which tune he played got the biggest reaction.

We chilled for a bit in the Premier Etage upstairs and the music was actually quite banging up there for a change!

On entering the Discoteca it was good to see that the place was very busy already and it was only midnight

One of my favourite DJs - Yousef was due on at 1am so we waited and caught the last hour of someone i didnt recognize play. Just as Yousef was about to take to the decks the DJ started playing Billie Jean and then something quite random happened! If I told you, you probably wouldn't believe me, so here it is!

When Yousef got going he was absolutely rocking the place! The atmosphere was immense and we hit the dance floor in the Discoteca for much of his set.

We headed back into the Sunset Terrace for a bit of Tiefschwarz then hit the Discoteca again...

Deadmau5 was due on next - now I had never bothered listening to his music before because I wasn't sure of the whole mouse gimmick and if he could cut it live. I wish i had! He sounds like nothing on earth when he's playing live - totally smashed the place and we were glued to his set from start to finish.

Every now and then he dons the mouse hat and the music gets a bit darker and more banging - quite a clever trick if the crowd is starting to lull a bit...

He finished his set and the Booka Shade boys came on - Deadmau5 was a hard act to follow but they did their best and banged it - so much that the amps blew for a couple of minutes whilst a few sound engineers ran about in the booth fixing it

We left at 5am as my ears couldn't take anymore :x but I gotta say that was the best night of my holiday! 8)

**** - that mj-tribute is amazing ... i love it !

ps:
did you shag each of those hotties or only the one in the hotpants ?

Of course the MJ thing is cheesey but it's all a bit tongue in cheek isn't it .. Ibiza is all about weird and wacky things, can you imagine how random that would have been at the time:D

Yeah the MJ thing was so wierd. It went on for sooo long as well, I deleted my videos of it since they were like 6+ minutes and I needed the space on my camera since my laptop got nicked! Yousef was great, Deadmau5 too, but by Booka Shade I was fading a bit.. Where was Mr Liebing playing I really wanted to see him! Oh and the lasers were amazing!

I thought Booka Shade were really good considering how mellow they usually are - I couldn't see them pulling it off following Yousef and Deadmau5 but they did!
