This review with try and look at the areas of what i liked and disliked about my holiday. Before I start, I went with 5 other guys who are not really interested in dance music and clubs, but more enjoy and drinking and a nice meal.

We went from 5 - 12 August and stopped in the Calas De Ibiza hotel. The hotel was ok, people seemed nice, staff were helpful. It cost about 3 euros for a drink so wasn't that bad. The only we really had was we had the leave our room at 11am and our pickup was at 1:15am so had 13 hours to waste with no room.
The location of the hotel wasn't really good - it was toward the back of San antoneo Bay and was 45 minute walk into the west end. We normally got the water taxi (2 euros) or a taxi which was about 8 - 10 euros. There was a number of cafe's around for breakfast and the beach was accross the road. The pool was fine.

I went to 2 clubs, These were space on the Sunday with David Guetta and some other people i didn't know. I was far to drunk to really enjoy myself and ended up stopping for about 3 hours. Most of the club a blue. I remember having to hand my camara in, and there being a couple of massive dance rooms. This was 10 euros a beer.
The other club night was Pacha on the friday with pete tong and david guetta (again - I didn't plan this). This club seemed a lot more up market with most people wearing jeans and shirts. It was also expensive 12 euros for a beer. I dance most of the night to david guetta and really enjoyed myself. Then Pete tong came on (I had seem him once before at this years one big weekend in Preston and didn't like him then.) in Pacha was the same. Remembering i don't like Dance music but i had gone from dancing round to david guetta to stood still thinking it's 5 am should i go home. I actually think a lot of people thought this. I just think he's not very talented, stood there with this apple mac pc pressing buttons wwowowo.
My friends went to edan on the tuesday to dave peace dance anthems, I didn't go and wasted 33 euros on my ticket because i felt poo. They said they didn't play a single song they new. Some dance anthems.... That the end of the major clubs we went to.

The rest of the night were spend down the west end getting wasted... can't really remember the name of the bars. Went in the place with the dead man walking cocktail which was a nice place and really friendly staff, this was our **** shirt night and all pritty drunk after that.. Some guys came in after us and started getting really smashed. After this bar we went to the rock bar on the corner of the west end was alright, cheapish drinks and played music me and my friends all new. Also went to the dance bar/ club which was next door to the rock bar.. which i enjoyed. remember everyone being wasted and jumping around.

Went to some irish bar which was nice and a couple more on that road. If you wander around the west end you can get good deals we got two drinks each, two cocktails between us and a bottle of peach snaps for 60 euros. (10 euros each)this is alright on the 1st night when everyone is fresh but then it becomes to much.

Some of the resturants were really nice. Went to a couple near the front of the west end near the cocktail bar on the bay. Had a lovely sea food platter.

One other point was on the friday we went to Cafe mambo for the sun set. Was alright, Cafe Mambo was far to busy. We went next door got some drinks which im sure were cheaper and stood on the beach. It was fun, people shouting to cafe cambo to turn the music up - I thought it would have been a lot louder. But it was nice, Someone was asked to marry them and everyone cheered, it was really fun and everyone seemed to be having fun. I would prob take my own drinks onto the beach if i was to do it again, like everyone else. Pete Tong came out waved and then went back in.

The water taxi's were alright, sometimes felt a little sick after. Also noticable was the amount of times people offered drugs, the lucky men selling it were everywhere on the westend.

Good things:
David Guetta is pritty cool.
Food was nice.
Space, Pacha and Cafe Mambo/ sun set thingy were all good and fun.
Sat in Bar M when Hard Fi were sound checking, I was stood at the side of the stage with a cocktail listening to them - sounded really good and was free.
The dead man walking cocktail bar was really nice.
Air con at the hotel was super. Im sure if everyone in the hotel had put it on the temp of ibiza would have dropped a degree.

Bad things:
Pete Tong is a nob.
Hotel location was a little out of the way.
Not many good bars near our hotel.
Only went to Ibiza town once before space and should have gone more.
Should have gone for 10 days and maybe not drank every day.

Overall was ok, If i went again i would get a better location and kinder don't mind dance music. Next up for me - Carling Weekend Leeds next week.

Went in the place with the dead man walking cocktail which was a nice place and really friendly staff
