Revenge Is Sweet! (in other words, we've got Spring!)

ALL of you UK posters have been torturing me with posts about your various bouts of spring weather over the past month while I froze my butt off in the longest winter I've seen since I moved out to the former USSR 8 years ago...

Well Spring is finally here in old Moscow!! Today's the 5th day in a row of above-0 temperatures and 3rd day in a row above 10 degrees! I was just out for a cigarette break and the LED sign on the bank across the street shows 18 C!! It's so nice outside, I think I'll double the frequency of my smoking breaks!

Then I saw the forecast for London: currently 10 C, tomorrow 9 C with light rain, Friday 5 C with rain, Saturday 8 C and Sunday 12 C! By comparison, it'll be 20 C here on Saturday :lol: Yes! It's warmer in Moscow than in London! Take that!

of course, I was checking your weather because I'll be in London for a week starting Friday. It's not fair.
 
Ya... for this part of the world, it's practically balmy. I wouldn't be surprised to see people swimming in the river this weekend :lol:
 
Just you wait until it's nice and 'fresh' at 7am outside Ministry of Sound on Sunday :lol: ;)
 
That's what I like about Moscow summers... even when it's warm in the day (for that couple of weeks or so :roll: ) it's always crisp when you come out of the club in the morning...

We're far north enough that it's also usually daylight when you emerge from those darkened rooms 8O
